Beacon Documentation

You just bought Beacon. Nice. This is your self-hosted link-in-bio site with live content feeds, social links, and a visual setup wizard that handles everything. No code, no subscriptions, no accounts. You own it.

Most people go from download to live site in about 15 minutes. Here’s how to get there.

  1. Getting Started — unzip, launch, and set up your site
  2. Hosting & Deployment — put your site on the internet (free)

The wizard walks you through each section of your site. These pages explain what every option does and when to use it:

  • Profile — your name, photo, bio, and the first thing visitors see
  • Brand Style — colors, fonts, and the overall feel of your page
  • Socials — the row of social icons below your profile
  • Tiles — live data cards showing what you’re listening to, reading, playing, and more
  • Links & Feeds — your content cards, external links, YouTube, Substack, podcasts
  • SEO & Sharing — how your page looks in Google and social media previews
  • Code — analytics, custom head scripts, and the Beacon footer link
  • Backup & Restore — export your full setup as a portable .zip and bring it back later
  • Verify & Build — check for issues, build your site, and export it
  • FAQ — common questions about setup, content, themes, privacy, and licensing
